Medical Networks
A medical network is the list of practitioners, clinics and affiliated centres you can visit with your health policy.
What a medical network is
Each company has its own network and updates it frequently, so before booking an appointment it's worth checking that the practitioner is still affiliated, and on what terms — whether prior authorisation is needed or the consultation involves a co-payment.
If you're already our client, tell us which specialty and area you need and we'll send you your insurer's up-to-date medical network. And if you're choosing a policy, we'll compare the medical networks of the leading insurers for your area.
Before booking an appointment
- Check it's still affiliatedMedical networks change: a centre can stop being affiliated from one year to the next.
- Check whether authorisation is neededDiagnostic tests and hospital admission usually require prior authorisation from the insurer.
- Keep your card handyPolicy number and insurer card, physical or from the app.
- Ask about the co-paymentUnder co-payment plans, each medical visit has a fixed charge.
Medical networks by insurer
Direct links to the medical network finders of the leading health insurers. They open in a new window, on each insurer's own website, and they are the ones who keep them up to date. If you can't find what you're looking for, call us.
These links go to third-party websites that Retuerto y Asociados does not control. If your insurer doesn't appear on the list, get in touch and we'll send you its medical network.
Shall we compare medical networks?
Tell us where you live and which specialities matter to you, and we'll tell you which insurer has the best network for your case.
