AXA launches an emotional support service for clients affected by the La Palma volcano
Offers free professional psychological support via 932 533
AXA has set up a telephone line (932 533 826) to offer psychological support to all clients affected by the eruption of the La Palma volcano.
"At times like this, when so many people have lost everything they had, we must stand even closer to all our clients and insured parties; we want them to feel they are not alone," says Nuria Fernández Paris, AXA Spain's Director of Personal Clients.
The service, available from 8am to 7pm island time, Monday to Friday, is run by a team of professionals who handle each situation individually and, where necessary, refer clients to the appropriate medical service.
In addition, a few days ago AXA also launched a service to help all clients manage and file claims with the Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros (Spain's Insurance Compensation Consortium) for losses suffered as a result of the volcano. Through 900 90 12 82, they all receive the advice they need and help claiming compensation from the public body for the damage suffered to homes and businesses.
