The iDEA® Accident Report App
automatically sends the report agreed between the drivers involved in an accident to the insurers responsible for both vehicles.
Fill in your version of what happened in the accident on your phone, along with the other driver's version. The system will send you a code so you can go ahead and send the report to your insurer. A separate code (at no cost) is sent to the other driver's phone, so they can download and review the report and confirm their agreement. That agreement is then passed on to both insurers.
Once the other driver has received the code, they can review the Electronic Accident Report in two ways: on the website www.declaracioniDEA.es, or in the iDEA® Accident Report App on their own smartphone, by entering the code received and their number plate.
Accepting the accident report does not amount to an admission of liability. Acceptance simply confirms that the facts recorded in the report are accurate.
